Aladdin and The Magic Lamp at Resorts World Genting

Most of us knows this story of how Aladdin, a poor tailor's apprentice discovers a magic lamp and finally gets to marry the princess of his dreams. This musical was brought to life at Genting International Showroom in Resorts World Genting, Malaysia.

This life cast musical uses state-of-art 3D holographic projections such as Aladdin hurtling away from giant rolling fire boulder to the evil magician summoning colossal spears of sand to bringing the genie to wise-crackling life. 

Aladdin and The Magic Lamp was developed by DT Kids Theatre in 2015, premiering at the Shanghai Zendai Himalayas Art Centre. Produced by DT Kids Theatre chief director Zhang Yi and choreographed by Mic Thompson, a Disney dance production veteran that has shared the stage with Michael Jackson and Jennifer Lopez, the show is a visual tour de force. Zhao Zi Fu, actor and host and Yin Shi, with multiple musicals under her belt front the cast as Aladdin and Jasmine, respectively.

The script is written by Yin Heng and music by Wang Lingyun, the 65-minute English-language with Chinese subtitles production is one that must be seen in person to fully appreciate.
There are interactions with audience as the actors do come into the asile also. 

Oh ya, be on the look out for the flying carpet to fly through from above you!

  Kids will also be kept entertained with various huge animated cute cartoon characters in the show.

A great show with a mixture of fantasy, entertainment and ended with portraying of family and good virtues in life!
