Penang Hawker Food & Cooking Demonstration @Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie

I was invited to a cooking demonstration at The Kites Restaurant, Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie Golf Resort in Shah Alam. The live food cooking demonstration was done by in-house Chef Zaidi. Chef Zaidi demonstrated in detail step by step three dishes from the buffet line of local favourites that is Char Kuey Teow, Curry Mutton Kurma and Fruit Rojak (Rojak Buah).

Hmm.. he mesmerize the audience and media with such skill and ease!

Finally a dish of Char Kuey Teow done. Being a Penangite, I can say with fairness that this Char Kuey Teow is really up to par and tastes real good.

Curry Mutton Kurma was cooked by using Fissler Pressure Cooker

Chilli Crabs! My favourite! It's cooked so perfectly!

Desserts, another irresistibles for me!

There are many types of desserts but this plate of white jelly caught my eye. Why? Because, I find it decorated with fineness of colorful yellow plum, red strawberries and black berries. Whereas, most other restaurants would just served it plainly on a plate with no decorations at all.
