Omega Pork Noodles (猪肉粉) at Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur.

Chinese love Pork dishes, as pork is their main meat diet and they believe eating pork is healthy. I have a friend who loves pork noodles very much, and he will eat pork noodles every morning for breakfast without fail. For me, I love pork noodles too, because there are so many types of pork meat in a bowl, including innards such as liver, lungs, and intestines. The best thing is, it can be customized according to your taste, meaning you can tell them to omit the liver if you don't like eating it.  There are two types, that is the dry or wet version too. The wet version means it is soup type, everything cooked wisth soup and served in one big bowl. The dry version means the noodles are cooked and seasoned with dark soy sauce, and there is a separate bowl of soup with all the cooked meat inside.

Recently I went to Omega Pork Noodles to have my fix on pork noodles. It was packed and luckily for me I went earlier before 7 pm. After eating, I went out and saw a long queue waiting outside! Oh my God, this restaurant have opened for a year already, and there are still long queues outside!

There are many choices and mix and match according to your taste for a bowl of pork noodles. Choose the type of noodles, from vermicille, silver needle noodle, Kuey teow, or Pho. Then choose your choice of pork and whether its wet or dry. Other than pork noodles, there are also curry noodles. Upon entering the restaurant, we have to straight go to order at the counter, state your choice, and pay there.

I ordered Dry noodle with just minced meat. I do not like all the other parts of pork. The noodles I chose Pho noodle and Kuey Teow. Small size bowl at RM11.30.

Here, at Omega Pork Noodles, the signature minced pork comes in a big piece, yummy! Just as I like it, not the loose small pieces swimming in the broth.

We tried the Nanyang White curry noodle. It really comes in white color, just as the Penang White curry. For this type of curry, we must mix in the dark chili paste from the spoon, Stir it well, and voila, it will not only look nice but also taste nice. A small bowl of this cost RM12.50.

As for the drinks, it is self service. We are given an empty cup, and can choose the type of drinks we like. There are many choices, as can be seen in the photos here. The best part is that it is refillable too! I manage to try two types: winter melon and black currant.

There are also different types of fried side dishes such as Fish ball, Lor Bak, and others which cost from RM4.00 per plate. It is also self service, you take from the shelf and pay at the counter. Sorry, I did not manage to take any photos of it.
