Oiso celebrates 7th anniversay in Berjaya Times Square With Four Signature dishes

Oiso means 'welcome' in Korean dialect especially in the southern part of Korea
On 14th March 2018, there was a hub of activity going on at Oiso Korean Traditional Cuisine & Cafe Berjaya Times Square Outlet to welcome guests and media. As I walk pass by GSC cinemas in Berjaya Times Square, I saw traditional Korean food on display in the Oiso outlet. There were life demo as Osio unveils its four signature dishes in conjunction with its celebration of its 7th anniversary. The four signature dishes are Stir Fried Beef, BBQ chicken, Samgye Tang, and Jap Chae.

Oiso Samgye Tang
A complete nutritious dish of chicken cooked for a long time with herbs and rice.

Oiso Stir Fried Beef
With fragrance of spices and onions, I like how strips of beef is fried till soft with a slight sweetness.

Oiso Jap Chae
Hmm..this is my favorite dish. Mind you, the noodles are actually made from potato flour. No wonder the texture of the noodles is different, its soft and full of volume!

Oh yeah, there was Kimchi pancake cooking demo also.

Kimchi Pancake is my usual order whenever I eat at Korean restaurants as pancakes is my must have dish. Yes! I was able to taste hot pancakes cooked in front of me at Osio, BerjayaTimes Square that day.

For those who enjoy Korea stuffs, you don't have to wait until you go to Korea to get it. I can see here on sale are Korean Ginseng Tea, Mocha coffee, and even Kimchi sauces. Kim Young Jun, Managing Director of Oiso Korean Traditional Cuisine & Cafe Malaysia said "Our homemade paste and are delivered direct from Korea and dishes are cooked with no preservatives and minimal additives"

Cute Melone Waffle, in the shape of fish and with different fillings is my girl's favorite. It is only RM5.90

Comfy seats of various designs dotted with lots of green trees made this cafe soothing and in tune with nature despite being inside a shopping mall.

Kim Young Jun, Managing Director of Oiso Korean Traditional Cuisine & Cafe Malaysia

"We invite you to experience homemade traditional Korean food with the introduction of four Oiso signature dishes." added Kim Young Jun in his speech during the 7th anniversary of Oiso at Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur.

As stated in the menu, the good things of Korean food are a balance of nutrition with carbohydrate, protein, high fiber and less oil. The merit of Korean food is fermentation. Thus, the basic ingredient of Korean food is Kimchi.
