Copper, Modern European Dining with a class of its own. Dishes are intricately presented and alluring to sight. Yes, there is this special spicy coffee Mayan Mocha that I must mention first before anything else as a friend of mine loves it so much that he drank two cups in a row.

Mayan Mocha - RM14.00

Mayan Mocha is Mexican-spicy mocha with the cayenne pepper (green) and so filled with lots of rich spices. Hmm.... looks like they put one of our "chilli padi" into it. So for people who loves spicy hot taste, please go enjoy this unique Mexican spicy mocha!

Hickory Smoked Salmon - RM18.00

Hickory Smoked Salmon came with roasted beetroot, anise yoghurt, marinated dark berries, lime gel and turmeric vinaigrette. The colour of the beetroot and berries complimented the smoked salmon very well. But taste wise, it is a bit raw for me, maybe it is suitable for sashimi lovers.

Charcoal Grilled Lamb - RM60.00

Here the lamb is cleverly rolled into cylindrical shape, served with spiced yoghurt, arugula salad, housemade pickles and sweet and sour dressing. I love this dish because not only because the colors are so well laid out but the taste is fantastic. The tender lamb meat combined with the sweet and sour dressing gives an explosion of flavours in my mouth!

Charcoal Grilled Steak - RM59.00

A sizeable large steak served with medium Romero sauce, sweet soy vinaigrette, roasted onion and polenta chips. A few of my fellow bloggers friends rave about it. This portion is so big that it can be shared by two people.  

Pira Oven Mushroom - RM22.00

Charcoal roasted porcini and assorted mushrooms, truffle oil, roasted cheese, onion puree, cracked egg and toast. The overall taste is ok but the toast has to be dipped into the broth as it is very hard. 

Seared Duck - RM40.00

Served with buttered peas, braised fennel and berry sauce.

We were told that it will take 20 mins waiting time! Ok, fair enough as the dish does not disappoint us. The duck meat is soft and tender, goes extremely well with the sweet berry sauce. A must try for duck meat lovers.

White Fish - RM39.00

This pan-seared white fish is accompanied by roasted eggplant, zucchini, vanilla potatoes and bois boudran sauce. It is my number one dish and the extra crispy fish skin does give the cracking to my first bite. The presentation has the right combination of colours!

Grilled Pineapple - RM15.00

Well, at first I thought why does a pineapple dish cost so much? I expected a large piece of pineapple as it is our local tropical fruit. I was surprised to see small pieces of grilled pineapple on top of coconut yoghurt cream, vanilla and earl grey granite.

Panacotta - RM12.00

Being a dessert lover, I tried a few other desserts. Panacotta is intricately designed with citrus, macerated berries and marigold petals.

Valrhona Chocolate Mousse - RM12

Another beautiful sight to behold! Chocolate mousse surrounded by salted pineapple meringue, fluid orange gel and mint. There is sweet and sour taste with chocolate, lovely!

Creme Brulee - RM15.00

I love Creme Brulee and a must order item for me in most restaurants. The size of this one is surprisingly big, so it is worth the cost of RM15. Taste is just right, not too sweet and was flavoured with earl grey tea and corn flower blossoms. Highly recommended!

Copper is situated on the 5th floor of Menara Shell near NU Sentral Mall. My recommended dishes are the Charcoal Grilled Lamb, Seared Duck, White Fish and Creme Brulee.
