SkySymphony Christmas Winch Show and Tour the World with Snoopy Exhibition

Tis the time for celebration! Oh yes, celebration because it's the year end long school holidays here (more than a month) in Malaysia and the Christmas festivals. Malaysian love to celebrate our ethnic festivals together, so this is epic because we can end 2017 with a big bang. How about going up to the clouds, enjoy the cool weather and have a nice family trip at Resorts World Genting. There are lots of things to do now at the new SkyAvenue: shopping, food, movies, arcades and now the Sky Symphony Winch show and the cute 52 figurines of Snoopy!

I was at the launch of this spectacular event at the invitation of Resorts World Genting. This SkySymphony Christmas winch show is at the centre over a six foot high stage at Times Square of Sky Avenue. 1001 winch balls are suspended from four-storey high with LED screen is a definite crowd puller with audio, visual and motion graphics showcase. The production of this show cost over RM500,000 and it is Asia's largest permanent winch installation and its first multimedia winch attraction.

The theme for this year's SkySymphony Christmas show is "Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree". With superb creativity and technical brilliance, the 1,001 light bulbs moved quickly into shapes that depicts the story and changed its colours at the same time. After about 5 minutes, the story ends with a 20ft Christmas tree rising from beneath the stage to mesmerise visitors in all its magical splendour.

The launch ends with merry making and performances by Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Santa Claus, Reindeer and Elves and Christmas Carollers serenading the audience with Christmas songs that got the audience to sing and dance along.

From 1 December until 31 December, besides the Genting Spectacular SkySymphony Christmas Show at every two hours interval, there will also be three other stories namely The Forest, Urban Symphony and The Goddess being showed every hourly after each Christmas show. Show starts from 10am to midnight daily.

Visitors can have a fun time seeking out the 52 snoopy's figurines at various locations at Skyavenue and Rainforest of First World Hotel to take photos.

Have you ever seen Santa Snoopy?

I was very impressed with the huge Santa Snoopy and there are lots people are busy taking snaps with it.

Awesome! This is a larger-than-life six-metre high inflatable Santa Snoopy!

SkyAvenue is full of Christmas cheer and mood as Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Santa Claus, elves and santarinas take to the streets and go on parade.

This colourful characters complete with Christmas tree floats will meet and greet visitors as they spread the festive cheer at:
