Avillion Admiral Cove, Port Dickson Hotel review

 For city dwellers, the beach and the sea breeze blowing on our faces is a luxury! The lockdown and pandemic make me yearn more for this type of feeling. So here I am at Avillion Admiral Cove Hotel, Port Dickson for a short holiday after the Malaysian government announced that interstate travel are allowed.  

Port Dickson is only about over an hour's drive from Kuala Lumpur, thus a perfect getaway from the hustle-bustle of the big city. There is a marina right next to this hotel, so I can enjoy the view of yachts. Moreover, I can sit on a specially made swing to take in this fantastic view.

Breakfast can be eaten inside which is very spacious or outdoors overlooking the Marina and pools that are lined with coconut trees. A lovely sight indeed! There are a wide assortment of choice for breakfast, from western such as cheese, sausages, croissants to eastern fried noodles and rice porridge. But, Oh yes, I did overhear a guest from my next table saying that there is no local 'Nasi Lemak'. Well, for Malaysians, the normal local breakfast is Nasi Lemak, a dish of coconut infused rice, topped with anchovies, fried peanuts, chili sauce and accompanied by either curry chicken or fired chicken. Anyway, to me this breakfast environment is 5 stars especially dining outdoors with the nice view.

I took a premium room with breakfast at RM238 per night for stay at the end of October 2021. This room is at the fourth floor, spacious at 41 sq. m. 

There is a sink at the coffee corner too.

A long comfy lounge chair near the window, can also be used as a bed for relaxing.

There are a number of recreation activities available for family and kids. Of course have to book and pay for it.

For those who want to go walk on the beach, it is accessible at the side of this Avillion Admiral Cove.  Just a short walk through a small gate on the left side and you can see the waves lapping on the beach.  

A night stroll in this Avillion Admiral Cove hotel is so romantic! Suitable for a relaxing stay for couples!

There's a rainbow! Yes, lucky me as it has been a long time since I have seen a rainbow. Well what to do, we all have been locked up inside our house for too long. This is really a refreshing change.
